Our activities will cover most aspects of music and we are always open to any suggestions to ensure our members get the most out of it. We are currently in the process of arranging different activities in different venues to kick-start the Jamm-Society and to make a amazing first impression in the music world from which you can benefit.

Workshops

Specialists will teach you everything you need to know about interesting subjects in the music scene. Did you always wanted to know how to make a light show or how to mix a live band? We will organise a workshop to teach you how to do that and we will combine this with a jamm-session or a band night to give this a real “live” feel.  We will teach bands how to get a better and more professional stage sound by turning down the amps and be in balance with each other, or a workshop on how to progress in your musical career. We will not forget the normal instrumental workshops to make sure you get more out of your instrument.
The Jamm-Society Crew has the knowledge to answer every musical question you might have. JUST ASK!!

Clinics

The Jamm-Society will organise interesting clinics to show you the possibilities of your instrument.

Concerts

We will organise band evenings in the form of competitions for unsigned acts, regional acts as well as international acts. We are encouraging any original music and we will try to book slots for all our members, in venues that are suitable for their style of music. Also, we are currently making connections with bands and venues in the UK, Holland, Germany and Belgium and strive to promote all our listed bands abroad.

Music Market

Would you like to get rid of that old guitar? Are these unsold demo CDs taking a lot of space in your CD rack? Don’t worry, we have the solution. For all those musicians looking for a bargain or just clearing old stuff, we will organise a yearly music market. This is also a great opportunity to meet interesting musicians or musicians with the same passion for a certain brand. Expand your horizon as well as your gear or just make some cash to buy that new effect you really like. (with JS-members discount of course)

School activities (educational)

The Jamm-Society encourages children to come in contact with music in an early stage. The reason we find this important is that from an early age they will have an advantage because of the interaction that occurs while playing music which increases communication skills and social development. We promote the idea that children go out and play music in stead of staying in and playing computer games. Of course we do not expect children to play an instrument from the start. Our idea is to provide small musical instruments (woodblocks, flutes, hand drums etc.) and make it a playful lesson.
Children will learn some of the most valuable lessons of life while having lots of fun!!
